These are some images taken from the ‘Double O’ Project set by Double O head designer Kenichi Nakayama.
The first image is the title page which is a detail of an insect caught in solidified amber.
The concept for my Double O collection was the idea of living beings being encased in solids, such as insects in amber… or humans in plastic.
The second image is of an invitation for the viewing of my collection which was inspired by the idea of burning ants using a magnifying glass. The circles representing the magnifying glass also represent the ‘double O’ of the brand.
